WebMD starts by telling you the process of digesting (entry through to exit) is about 6 hours and then says “being regular’ is evacuating your bowels 3 to 4 times weekly. Back to basics
As a young child, we had a dog a couple of them and it was my job to walk them. Within the first 5 minutes, the dog had done the needed and was now ready to play.
Back when I was being potty trained, my mother sat me on the potty first thing in the morning and thusly I learned that the most important thing to do in the morning is to evacuate my bowels. When my kids vacationed at Grandma’s she did the same with them: first potty then eat.
Everyone needs to get back to that period in time that pooping was a good thing and your parents were proud.
If you empty your bowels first thing in the morning you will feel better the rest of the day. Constipation causes mild depression and a less-than-desired attitude.
